Arsenal’s Resolve For Persistance to Self Destroy

Arsenal
Having had 2 days to think about the ludicrousity (yes, the events that transpired deserve their very own word) of what went down in Newcastle on Saturday, I've right now made peace using the fact that no logical description will suffice : regardless of a sending off, an accident, poor refereeing choices and personal mistakes, there's simply no defence for losing a four goal lead.

However the optimists amongst Arsenal supporters can also view this weekend together which saw the deficit at the top of the league table diminish. All is actually faraway from lost. And even though reasoning may not provide the best arena to deconstruct Arsenal’s startling inclination for self burning, a big issue needs to be asked at what level is this the players’ responsibility and not Arsene Wenger’s?

The fact is that a team is an extension, and representation, of their manager. And Arsenal’s continuing penchant for losing focus is an unmistakable indictment on Arsene Wenger’s inability to instil pitilessness into his group of members. Nevertheless generally there also comes a point – like on Saturday – the location where the occasions that unfold are so incredible and also complicated that I can’t support but share Wenger’s frustration and just ask the players (all experienced players, too) is this really the manager’s mistake?
